About the Job
Administer and maintain shipping and inventory reports for the maintenance department on a daily basis. Compile records of amount, type, and value of material stock in-hand and reconcile discrepancies in inventories.
Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities
Organize and maintain all components being set to outside vendors.
Enter and track purchase orders.
Issue and investigate Non-compliance Reports on all shipment errors.
Maintain lost inventory and excess inventory.
Process all gauge, inserts and labor orders.
Maintain and file proof of delivery documentation for shipping.
Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all Northwest Pipe Company WTG and HSE policies and procedures.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order necessary parts for Garage and Maintenance Departments.
Maintains list of vendors to locate necessary parts.
Maintains inventory of filters and garage parts.
Maintains inventory of plant equipment parts with the assistance of Maintenance Supervisors.
Prepare repair estimate on mobile equipment when requested.
Deliver or pickup necessary parts at local vendors.
Operate small forklift to load and unload parts.
Maintain equipment rental system and prepare necessary accounting forms.
Input required information into BOS system to purchase and receive parts, and to record labor of department personnel.
Maintain all necessary records and files on mobile equipment.
Order replacement tools for mechanics and electricians when necessary.
File plant equipment blueprints in a neat and orderly fashion and in proper sequence.
