Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Learn about LASER and Ballbar diagnostic tools for implementing Geometric and servo control compensations on CNC equipment within 1 / 10,000 of an inch.

  • Utilize Ladder logic troubleshooting techniques for fault analysis and corrections.

  • Service Hydraulics, Pneumatics, HVAC and Chiller systems.

  • Engage in extensive use of Multi-Meters, Digital storage scopes, Thermal cameras and vibration analyzers, Meg-Ohm meters and other related Technician tools.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Maintenance Associate/Specialist to: perform all aspects of corrective and preventative maintenance on all types of CNC (Computerized Numerical Controlled) and manual controlled machine tools and facilities equipment.

You will need: Minimum of 2 yrs.

Experience in Industrial machine maintenance or be enrolled or have a technical training certificate from a reputable technical trade institution. Experience in Maintenance of CNC and/or Manual controlled metal working machine tools is preferred. Training in Electrical Systems or instrumentation and process controls is required, and a basic understanding of hydraulic systems is preferred.

You should have: experience using hand and power tools and must have fundamental understanding of AC and DC electrical systems and related components. Must have an understanding of mechanical and electrical measurement . Must be able to work efficiently in a Team environment. Must understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.

Follow specific customer flow-down requirements. * Knowledge of packing lists and written transport waybills. * Basic visual part inspection and certification verifications. * Ordering packaging materials. * Computer access of customer portals, as well as FedEx, UPS, and other's as required. * Receiving: * Knowledge of Commercial and Military receiving processes. * Operate specific computer programs used in receiving parts. * Work in a fast paced, schedule driven environment with flexibility to re-direct daily activities to meet demands. * Raw Material: * Ability to work with heavy pieces of raw stock. * Safely operate an industrial band saw and overhead hoists. * Operate specific computer tracking system. * General: * Basic visual part inspection for damage. * Perform Safety inspection on departmental equipment and accountable for 5S Housekeeping. * Ability to be forklift certified within 30 days, and drive company vehicle as required. Qualifications Knowledge and Experience: * High School Diploma, (GED), or equivalent. * Safety orientated and willing to participate in continuous improvement team discussions and activities. * Ability to use hand tools (power drill, circular cut off saw, hand and foot staplers). * Self-motivated, works well with others under minimal supervision and perform other duties as required.Skills & Competencies: * Good communication skills. * Basic understanding of Excel/Word. * Basic computer aptitude.Working Conditions: * Physical requirements of routine machine shop work as shown below, also: voice, vision, hearing, and dexterity. * 4 hours/day sitting 4 hours/day standing or walking * Lift/Carry: Weight Occasionally Frequently Constantly In Pounds Never (0 – 33%) 1-3 Hr.
