Maintenance Assistant

Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility is a Skilled Nursing Facility located in the beautiful Catskill mountains. We are committed to being the leading provider of quality care in Sullivan County. In order to achieve that goal, we need to meet high standards of excellence in the care and attentiveness that the building itself receives. We are currently seeking a motivated, self-directed full-time Maintenance Assistant to maintain Facility grounds and services. The position will report 2x a week 8am-4pm.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Include:

• General plumbing, heating, electrical maintenance and repairs

• Basic carpentry (sheet rock, spackling, painting, wallpaper)

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on Facility equipment

• Performing all responsibilities while maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff

Requirements:

• Maintenance Assistant will be required to rotate "on-call" weekends with existing maintenance staff personnel.

• Positive working attitude with team approach

• Experience in large scale facilities and with large scale systems (boilers, etc) is preferred.
