Position responsibilities are:

  • Ensure that compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met as they relate to the operation of the building's infrastructure and equipment

  • Develop scope and plan projects assigned by Facilities Engineering Manager that support continuous improvement and strategic business objectives

  • Identify safety hazards within the building and incorporate the remediation of such hazards to ensure that the building's staff and occupants work in a safe environment.

  • Provide input for the annual maintenance and capital plans, which would include planning for infra-structure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications to ensure the building's future capabilities are maintained

  • Updates building plans and schematics for electrical upgrades and installations

  • Support predictive and preventive maintenance program

  • Lead root cause failure analysis investigations

  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Engineering Manager

  • Develop expertise in use of CMMS and train others on its use

Position qualifications are:

  • Bachelor'sDegree inMechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering or Industrial technology Preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

  • Strong facility support and manufacturing background

  • Significant leadership skills in developing job plans and scope of work for contractor quotes, problem solving, communication, time management, and multi-tasking.

  • Ability to write and review high quality detailed work scripts, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures

  • Strong skills in reliability engineering and failure analysis

  • Detailed knowledge and demonstrated skills in mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance

  • Strong skills in computer applications and software, including commercial computerized maintenance management systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Very strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • PLC troubleshooting/programing, HVAC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or CAD experience is a plus

Job Summary SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician II will schedule and perform routine and extensive preventive and corrective maintenance and repair procedures throughout the site to ensure a safe operating environment for our employees and visitors. This position will coordinate outside contractors or vendors for various services. Job Requirements & Skills ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Follow all Pentair and department policies and procedures. * Complete all assigned tasks in a safe, professional, and timely manner. * Work regular schedule and overtime when requested. * Improve skills and increase knowledge relating to the job. * Perform work with some supervision required. * Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary for facility and equipment readiness and proper operation. * Maintains accurate records of preventive maintenance schedules. * Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED * Full ability to read and communicate in English and effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair automated machinery. * Full ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, lift, and reach with hands and arms. * Full knowledge of safe work practices including such as Hazardous materials awareness, PPE, Fire safety, Lockout/Tagout and Hot work. * Ability to read mechanical blueprints and pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics. * Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing equipment. * General ability to operate maintenance equipment such as hand tools, power tools, machining tools (lathe, mill, drill press). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Associate's Degree in a related field preferred. * Three or more years equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
