As a growing company, we are looking for a self-motivated individual to work with our maintenance team to coordinate the parts and services necessary to maintain our equipment.
This position is responsible for parts purchasing for all our equipment. You will work with the mechanics and outside vendors to coordinate necessary parts are received in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for the management of the parts inventory. This includes keeping correct counts of parts on hand and verifying that parts used in work are correctly listed on work orders.
You will be responsible to insure invoices are coded correctly and that they are submitted for payment.
This position is also responsible to make purchases of basic supplies for our outside yards and departments.
You will work with outside vendors and service providers to schedule and coordinate repairs subbed out to them.
You will be responsible to schedule parts pick up through our parts runner.
Ability to type 40 WPM
10 Key proficiency
Ability to communicate well in writing as well as over the phone
Good organization skills
Previous parts purchasing / service writing / warehouse experience preferred
