Job Title: Maintenance 1 - Maintenance Technician I

Positions: Building Maintenance Technician I / Full-time
Job Statement: Will perform skilled general maintenance assignments in the mechanical and/or building trades. Maintain and repair equipment, facilities and machinery. Assist other maintenance personnel in completion of work orders and assignments.

Qualifications:
Five years experience in general construction or maintenance related fields
Possession of current LME or LBME electrical license or equivalent preferred and possession of or ability to obtain other trade licenses
Previous experience working on boilers preferred
Significant physical abilities include walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, climbing ladders, working from heights or in confined spaces, lifting or moving heavy objects, loading, unloading, reaching, handling, talking, hearing conversations and other sounds (potential hazards), visual acuity, including close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Ability to solve problems, make independent decisions, and comply with strict deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient with computer technology, with a detailed working knowledge of: Microsoft Outlook
Google Docs and Forms

High school diploma or equivalent
Criminal justice fingerprint clearance required
Valid Oregon driver's license

Salary/Benefits: Range: $19.80 - $25.08
(placement on the salary range is based on years of experience)
District pays PERS contribution. Excellent benefit package.
