Maint Tech

Job Description:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance of machines and equipment, including but not limited to overhead cranes, welding equipment, plasma table, laser, press brake, roll machines, and punch press. Coordinate required PM's and repairs with production to eliminate unscheduled downtime. Complete new construction and construction repairs to the buildings and offices. Ensure safe working environment for all TEREX team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and complete all required paperwork and documentation.

• Perform construction repair and new construction on buildings/offices.

• Support work teams by addressing maintenance and safety issues and documenting and communicating irregularities.

• Safely and effectively operate plant mobile equipment.

• Insure proper handling of plant disposables and chemicals.

• Perform all duties within state, local and federal codes and regulations.

• Maintain records and documentation as required.

• Perform housekeeping and 5S functions.

• Other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1-year experience working with maintenance/construction tools and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform a full range of maintenance activities on equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities systems.

• Ability to complete new construction and construction repairs on buildings/offices to include drywall, painting, door installation etc.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, maintain records and interpret operating manuals and specifications.

• Ability to observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of machinery and tools.

• Typically works in a manufacturing environment, standing for long periods of time, and requires the ability to move materials weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

• Ability to operate small hand tools as well as common shop floor equipment.

• Basic computer skills.
