Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Industrial Maintenance Technician on night shift (7p-7a) for the Films plant in Grand Prairie, Texas. This position will report to the Maintenance Lead.

  • Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system

  • Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems

  • Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters

  • Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant

  • Set up and troubleshoot VFDs

  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions

  • Use shop equipment, such as welder, mill, etc, to manufacture or repair mechanical components

  • Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance

  • Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Able to effectively redirect efforts on short notice

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Good attitude

  • Willingness to learn
