Title: Mainland Logistics I & E Engineer
The Opportunity
Key activities include:
Provide full engineering lifecycle support for pipeline I&E projects enterprise wide, from conception and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Develop detailed I&E engineering designs for pipelines, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes and standards, including NEC and industry best practices.
Perform and review technical calculations for pipeline I&E systems, including power sizing, grounding, and instrumentation selection.
Utilize power design software (e.g., ETAP) to model and analyze electrical systems.
Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for pipeline automation and control.
Participate in the selection, specification, and procurement of I&E equipment.
Support field construction activities, including providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
Perform drafting tasks using AutoCAD software to create and maintain I&E drawings.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, operations personnel, and contractors.
Prepare clear and concise technical reports and documentation.
Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) principles.

Qualifications
To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. Additional qualifications include:
Required-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (PE registration preferred)
Understanding of Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and upstream power design principles
In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant codes and standards
Understanding of PLC architecture and programming languages
Experience with instrumentation and automation applications for pipelines
Proficiency in power design software (e.g., ETAP) is a plus
Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote locations
Excellent multi-tasking and teamwork abilities
Strong drafting skills with AutoCAD software
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 10 years' experience in I&E engineering, with a strong emphasis on pipelines, power distribution, and control systems.

Our Refineries and Logistics Operations
