Mainframe Quality Analyst

Role: Mainframe Quality Analyst

• Prior experience of working on Mainframe systems.

• Job set ups , Execution , Debugging,

• Test data creation using File-Aid ,

• Data validation on DB2 ,

• MF job submission from OPCT and checking Error queues , SPUFI /QMF ,

• TSO/ISPF ,

• JCL.

• Experience in System Testing including Functional, Regression, Integration Testing of Client/Server and Web based Applications.

• Experience in E2E Integrated Testing.

• Ability to write user stories, test plans, test cases, execute those, open and manage defect life cycle.

• Sound Knowledge of Jira Tool ( Epics / Stories / Tasks / Issues / Dashboard / Reports & Defects ).

• Knowledge of Zephyr Tool.

• Sound Knowledge of SDLC : Waterfall, Agile methodologies.

• Ability to coordinate work with remote teams.

• Payments Domain experience is a Plus.

• Knowledge of Check processing & Clearing process in the financial system is a plus.

• Responsible for collecting all project requirements

• Create Test Plan and perform effort estimation

• Identify test scenarios and designing test cases to validate various Mainframe jobs and processes

• Perform Standalone and Integration (end to end) testing

• Perform Regression testing

• Raise Defects and track till closure

• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to meet projects goals and timelines
