Job Description:

Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Establishes input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert; able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors. Will have responsibility for multiple, complex projects; will direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations and may have direct reports. Leads the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Information Technology degree and/or technology certifications preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Typically 7-10 years of IT experience.

Job Description:

Required Skills:

  • 7-10 years of experience in design, development, coordination and implementation of mainframe network engineering activities within z/OS, z/VM and Linux on z Series environments.

  • Ability to participate in technical support, systems programming in VTAM, TCP/IP and with data center capabilities.

Desired Skills:

  • IT degree and/or technology certifications preferred .

LOB Job Description: This role will need to partner with CTO technology and support teams on tooling and design along with learning the appropriate systems and data knowledge. They will develop major deliverables on a comprehensive data-driven presentation solution. The desired candidate will be experienced and previously successful in navigating complex, multi-layered, mixed technology, data and web application architectures. This role must be an expert in UX/UI, with graphic design and data reporting visualization knowledge. This person will build the interactive and use-case driven app without requiring prescriptive direction. This hands-on senior programmer architect will work with and evolve white board designs to wireframe constructs to functional iterative application screens. The candidate will be an expert in major development and delivery frameworks – REST/APIs, MERN stack, React, Angular, Version Control, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and adept in leveraging these and other technologies to design, define tests and functionality, develop, and bring to production an interactive and beautiful design. The desired candidate's will also be experienced with reporting – BI, data preparation, transformation, shaping, and data modeling.
