Position Summary
Account for the incoming and outgoing transaction of the main bank vault. Accurately count cashier bank and balance the main bank vault. The main bank is the heart of the gaming facility and must be able to account for a currency transaction and the flow of the currency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Ensures that all State and Department regulations and procedures are being followed
Accurately counts vault funds and verifies vault on a daily basis
Verifies and accepts funds into assigned bank form cashiers
Maintains accurate records and paperwork
Ability to prepare MTLs, CTRs, MILs, Winners Forms, and Suspicious Activity Log when required with training and knowledge
Verifies window exchanges to replenish impressments of cashier banks
Verifies cashier transactions
Performs as a cashier and job related duties when needed
Audits casher banks when assigned
Abilities to give instruction and assist cashiers when needed
Prepare accurate daily bank deposits
Train current and new associates on proper policy and procedures
Role model Guest Service Standards and Operation Standards, interacting positively through relationships with guest and fellow associates displaying genuine concerns and mutual respect for guest and team member's needs
Attend all mandatory training classes required
Perform other duties as assigned

Education / Training / Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Prior experience in handling large sums of money is preferred
A proven proficiency with computers and ten (10) key adding machines with some knowledge of computer keyboard is preferred
Ability to enter data, read and interpret output from computer
Excellent guest and human relations skills
Ability to work any day of the week and any shift
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Candidate must be willing to learn all phases of cage activity
Present a well-groomed-appearance
Qualifications
Must have the ability to obtain a Work Permit issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission
Knowledge of internal controls for the Title 31
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
Ability to read, accurately analyze and interpret common documentation
Ability to accurately analyze and interpret departmental needs and results, ability to solve complex problems
Ability to perform assign duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment
Ability to respond to common inquiries
Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner
Good communication and listening skills
Employee must work the scheduled assigned for business purposes
Communicates openly and clearly at all times with management
Maintains the utmost integrity and dignity for self and others at all times
Ability to promote continuous improvement in the performance of the department and its associates
Mentor and train other tea members
Flexible to work as needed on all shifts
