SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Main Bank Shift Supervisor is responsible for efficient operation of all cash handling and operating procedures for Comanche Nation Entertainment. The Main Bank Shift Supervisor is responsible for the shift operation, administration, maintenance and protection of the casino bankroll. The Main Bank Shift Supervisor's performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.

  • Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of coin/currency in all departments as well as maintaining an adequate level of coin/currency in the Main Bank/Cage.

  • Coordinates and communicates the policies and procedures to Main Bank/Cage personnel.

  • Assures that floor locations are adequately impressed and reconciles ATM and kiosks.

  • Accurately balances main bank.

  • Counts and verifies all transactions and paperwork at beginning and ending of shifts.

  • Verifies that coin shipment and currency bank deposits are prepared accurately and timely.

  • Prepares and completes all job related paperwork, which includes, but not limited to, cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, check disbursements for jackpot payouts and other valuable items.

  • May work as Main Bank Cashier or Cage cashier as necessary.

  • Review all paperwork to ensure all documentation is properly completed.

  • Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned by Main Bank Manager.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

The following are major supervisory duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.

  • Monitors the performance of Main Bank/Cage employees; ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures.

  • Handles problems or grievances (employees/guests) as soon as the need arises within the Main Bank/Cage departments. Capable of making critical decisions. Must follow prescribed chain of command.

  • Fosters and maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management, and guests.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The Main Bank Shift Supervisor regularly communicates with coworkers and guests, operates a computer, other office equipment and money counters.

The Main Bank Shift Supervisor will regularly be required to stand or sit for 50% or more of their scheduled shift. The Main Bank Shift Supervisor will be required to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Main Bank Shift Supervisor must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.

The Main Bank Shift Supervisor may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED and minimum one (1) year of experience in Main Bank; or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience. Prior working experience in casino environment is preferable. Must be at least 18 years of age.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive. * Abide by and enforce casino and department policies and procedures. * Assists in hiring new employees; training and providing them with cleaning checklists. * Maintains high level of guest service. * Assists with the cleaning of all inside casino offices, bathrooms and casino floor areas. * Ensures proper training with use of chemicals and cleaning tools and devices. * Answers service calls when necessary. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Completes scheduling to cover all company needs. * Responsible for covering extra shifts when scheduled employees are absent. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: The EVS Supervisor plans, organizes, directs and monitors the work flow of the Environmental Services staff. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: The EVS Supervisor regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The EVS Supervisor is required to frequently move items weighing up to 50 lbs. The EVS Supervisor will be required to ascend/descent from raised objects and position one's self to perform different functions. The EVS Supervisor must be able to remain stationary for 50 percent of the time. Depending on weather, the EVS Supervisor t may also be exposed to extreme cold, typically temperatures below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour. The EVS Supervisor may be exposed to extreme heat, typically temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than an hour.
