DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in accurately handling various forms of cash transactions.Ten-key skills required.Must have the ability to balance a high volume of currency on a consistent basis.Counts and balances funds in Main/Chip Bank with outgoing banker at start of shift; verifies totals in vault balance sheet against monies on hand.
Balances all recorded transactions in the vault balance sheet and verifies totals against monies on hand at the end of the shift.Receives and verifies currency, coin and chip, jackpot fill slips, drops; prepares fills and calls security to deliver monies to departments/tables concerned; records fill transactions in the vault balance sheet.Prepares daily cash deposit.
Receives and verifies drops.Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.
Issues and accepts transfers of coins, chips, etc.
to and from the coin/mini-coin vault, window and vault bank; prepares necessary paperwork to document transfers.Prepares and releases impress funds to cashiers and revenue centers.
