Maintaining quality customer service by providing friendly and responsive processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other shipments.
Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.
Aide personnel with packing needs and answering questions and/or concerns.
Utilize handheld scanners to deliver packages and obtain proof of delivery.
Researching incoming mail, packages, and other shipments addressed to unknown or unrecognizable recipients.
Maintain activity data in appropriate logs.
Prepare and process outbound courier/freight shipments using computer equipment.
Interact with fellow employees in a professional and respectful manner.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety concerns of all operating spaces and associated areas.
Cross-training and backup of other employees in the event of emergency or contingency situations.
Possess the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.
Completing other tasks assigned by the Manager/Site Lead.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Strong written and communication skills.
Minimum 1-year experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team player and service oriented.
Able to handle multiple projects at one time with attention to detail.
