THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is a labor-intensive position which processes a large volume and variety of mailable, time sensitive material with associated forms and envelopes. Processing of this material is accomplished utilizing large-scale mail-inserting machines. Attention to detail is essential for ensuring each fold is correct, monitoring machines for proper sensor functions, interpreting and resolving general machine errors, and verifying job information sheets are correct before processing. You will also perform general and preventative maintenance on the machines, use an air compressor to remove dust, and thoroughly clean all parts of each machine. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Mail Production Assistant; or

  • One year of clerical experience; or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

  • You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
