The successful candidate will support Mail Services and prepare, process and distribute incoming, outgoing, internal mail, including UPS, Fed-Ex, etc. parcel. Delivers and assists with other mailing problems. Other responsibilities include maintaining proper mailing procedures, equipment operations, and providing proper security of postal meters and record maintenance.

The first step will be a written Technical Skills test. Once the first objective has been fulfilled, the second step will be a lifting assessment. The final step in this process will be a behavioral based core competency interview. Each step of the process much be passed in order to progress to the next step.

Behavioral Based Interview
The interview is a behavioral based interview incorporating Tucson Electric Power Core Competencies. In this process we believe that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior and more recent behavior is a better predictor of future behavior than older behavior, and that long-standing trends are better predictors of behavior than isolated incidents. We therefore have patterned the questions during the interview to solicit behavior patterns that indicate with high predictability whether the candidate can perform the job as required. This position will prepare, process, and distribute incoming, internal, outgoing mail and UPS, FED-EX, etc., deliveries and assist other with mailing problems. Other responsibilities include maintaining proper mailing procedures, equipment operations, and providing proper security of meters and record maintenance.

Work and cooperate with other employees to accomplish assigned tasks.
Operate basic office equipment, including but not limited to: copiers, fax machines, calculators, personal computers, mail processing equipment, and other equipment as required in certain positions.

Pick up and drop off mail at various Post Office locations
Sort and deliver all incoming mail and packages in accordance with established procedures and time frames
General office clerk duties, when needed

Handle time sensitive material (customer bills, confidential packages)
Answer single or multi-line phones, route calls, and/or takes messages.
Delivery of copy paper to print rooms when needed
Follow written procedures or oral instructions pertaining to assigned area.
Ability to read and follow City street map
Have and retain a valid Arizona driver's license.
