  • Deliver messages, documents packages and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies.
  • Sort or open incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Obtain receipts for articles delivered and keep log of items received and delivered.
  • Deliver items to offices and departments within the establishment.
  • Perform miscellaneous errands, such as carrying mail within the establishment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand proficiently in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.

May perform a variety of maintenance functions at the semi-skilled level. <br><br> Responsibilities may also include furniture management, inventory, installation and repair. Maintain print room and mail room. Deliver all mail and packages to all floors within specified building.</p><p>1.Perform specialized maintenance work requiring semi-skilled training (i.e. initial assessment to determine action required)</p><p>2.Typically requires specialized training and significant experience in printing, binding and finishing skills. Also need working knowledge of postal machines and how to package outgoing shipments.</p><p>3.Incumbents work independently assessing and determining maintenance needs of facility as well as what options of contact there may be to respond to emergency issues.</p><p>4.Deliver mail and packages to appropriate floors.
