Enterprise Bank is currently seeking a Mail Clerk I to join our team! As a key member of the Mail Operations team, the Mail Clerk I handles a variety of responsibilities to ensure efficient and uninterrupted daily mail operations for all departments and branches of the bank.

The Mail Clerk I is responsible for sorting incoming mail from the post office and departments, delivering mail to 4 downtown locations, preparing, unloading and separating contents of courier bags for branches, separation of morning work and notice processing. In addition, he/she is responsible for daily operation of the mail postage machine, processing work through the folder stuffer machine, making necessary service calls when equipment is broken, answering customer inquiries as it pertains to mail delivery, mail, and courier runs, and scanning packages received from Fed-Ex and UPS.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record and also have access to a reliable automobile. The ability to lift up to 100 pounds is essential. Weekly schedule is 40 hours per week and fluctuates between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Most of these clerks are involved in the processing, distributing, and managing of incoming and outgoing correspondence. The Mail and File Clerk, for example, performs a critical role in processing both incoming and outgoing mail. In fact, the Mail and File clerks process more than a million pieces of correspondence, including tax returns, each year. On the other hand, the General Clerk, whom experiences similar volumes, is responsible for processing, distributing and managing the correspondences, incoming and outgoing documents and files, once it is ready to be worked within the Business Division. All clerks perform critical roles in the Services ability to serve million of taxpayers each year.
