Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and internal communications.
Process outgoing mail and packages with postage.
Fill out and complete all tracking of incoming and outgoing certified/insurable mail and courier packages for signature and proof of receipt.
Investigate "mystery" mail and determine proper distribution.
Identify suspicious mail, and notify supervisor in order to determine proper handling or distribution.
Assist individual departments as necessary with preparation of mail, courier services and other projects.
Provide daily service to replenish copier paper, copier supplies and other office supplies for each copy/mail room on all support center floors.
Provide back-up switchboard coverage as needed.
May perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office and Excel recommended
Knowledge of postage equipment and UPS scales
Able to learn technology related specifically to mailing and shipping are required.
Able to be cross-trained in all aspects of the Mail Center operations.
