Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between TMG's mail and office services team and client departments

  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing incoming mail (e.g. letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, and interdepartamental) to appropriate recipients and departments

  • Make timely collection of outgoing mail

  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment

  • Track and maintain records and logs of mailing

  • Perform accurate data entry as needed

  • Responsible for inventory control of mail and shipment supplies.

  • Pick up and deliver supplies to designated locations as needed for mailing projects

  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a mailroom or experience in FedEx and/or UPS

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material

The ideal candidate has direct mail process and production knowledge and responsibility for creating direct mail campaigns while continuously optimizing production processes and costs.     Key Responsibilities:   * Administers daily leave of absence programs including; Short- and Long-Term Disability leave, Military leave, FMLA leave, Non-FMLA leave, Parental leave, State sponsored leave, and Personal leaves of absence. Support the ADA and job accommodation function. * Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and managing new acquisition campaigns as well as loyalty and engagement tactics following a test & learn approach * Work closely with the Director – US Acquisition Marketing, Direct Mail to define campaign’s performance metrics, implement measurement plans and test strategies * Communicate campaigns’ status updates to business partners, system stakeholders and production managers * Apply an expert understanding of business needs, goals, and challenges and connect them to the campaigns in order to tell a single story and develop tactics and functional specifications that can be executed in our campaign reporting platform * Constantly analyze campaign results and metrics to identify any improvement opportunities and take any actions needed * Identify technical issues within the campaign reporting platform and manage resolutions with IT or our external vendors * Provide campaign data environment architecture recommendations if needed * Provide feedback and recommendations that can help us improve the quality of MLAH customer database storing, usage and reporting capabilities * Partner closely with IT, Marketing, Product and other key stakeholders to ensure quality, effectiveness and timeliness of campaign deliverables and results * Apply a customer-centric lens to any problem and advocate the "customer" view * Performs other related duties as assigned or required.   Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required: * 3-5 years of relevant experience including proven track record as Marketing campaign manager * Proven experience with campaign management applications * Proven understanding of data analytics and marketing optimization using business intelligence and/or statistical tools to query and interpret data * Must operate strategically, while leveraging the tactical skills to manage day-to-day business needs * Excellent project management skills; able to deliver projects with consistent high quality and on time * Willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and perform tasks to get the job done efficiently and effectively * Cross-functional team player, and collaborator with excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels * Ability to triage issues and provide creative solutions to streamline operations * Intermediate or above knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint and Word * Undergraduate degree required   Preferred: * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data science, communications, or related field is preferred * Experience analyzing and developing process improvement * Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development.   Business Category Global Brand & Marketing   Number of Openings 1     At MetLife, we’re leading the global transformation of an industry we’ve long defined.
