KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate technical requirements and mockups into fully functioning responsive templates and web pages using HTML/CSS/JS and utilizing BlueFoot CMS.

Ensure quality assurance across all platforms, devices and browsers.

Troubleshoot any front-end technical or performance issues that may arise.

Collaborate with designers and back-end developers during the development process.

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS:
6+ years experience in front-end development.
Magento 2 and BlueFoot CMS experience a must.

Experience translating PSD comps and annotated wireframes into flexible HTML templates.

Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues.

Familiarity with usability guidelines and W3C AAA accessibility standards.

Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.

Experience working on e-commerce projects.

Knowledge of SEO best practices.

Strong problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal and written).

Strong attention to details.

Position Summary: Front desk position in Irvington office with high visibility to manage our multi-line system and greet and direct all visitors and vendors. Oversee and assist in the reservation of meeting spaces for employees and guests, help facilitate support services for internal and external guests and act as liaison between guests and other Facilities staff always in a collaborative way. Assist Facilities/Architecture and other teams with clerical and administrative duties. Duties and Responsibilities: * Answer and direct all main switchboard phone calls, take messages and follow up accordingly when necessary. * Greet all customers, guests and visitors and contact appropriate internal employees. * Direct caterers and deliveries to appropriate employees. * Oversee and assist in the scheduling and reservation of all meeting spaces and conference rooms. Process and track all meetings, share reservation information, required equipment and space set-ups with Facilities team. * Assist visitors and guests with finding open desks. * Act as a source for corporate office information (location of first aid supplies, meeting supply needs, office supply needs, location of Facilities personnel, etc.). Maintain a running list of local amenities including restaurants, spas, hotels, car services, etc. for referral. * Perform morning review of all common areas in the Irvington office (conference rooms, copy rooms, kitchens, café, bathrooms, reception area) and partner with Facilities team members regarding cleanliness and aesthetic presentation. Restock items and coordinate custodial labor from Facilities Team as needed. Order teas, coffee, office supplies and custodial supplies as needed. * Assist Facilities/Architecture Management teams with administrative tasks and projects including but not limited to processing of invoices, expenses, spreadsheets, data entry, scheduling of meetings, creating agendas, conference room bookings, mailings, ordering lunches, handle parking requests. Administer clerical support for other departments such as mail merges, mass mailing and labeling of envelopes. Send mass email communications to employees regarding Facilities matters, safety issues, updates, etc. as well as provide postage stamps and issue temporary parking passes. * Meet with Facilities team weekly to discuss upcoming schedule for the following week's Irvington events and meetings and email schedules to Facilities team. Order rental items (tables, chairs, etc.) and coordinate caterers and outside vendors for certain events. * Maintain Facilities Team calendar in Outlook, tracking team's days off, daily location of team members. Keep calendar of anniversaries and birthdays for Facilities and Architecture teams for managers, provide cards. Coordinate biannual birthday and anniversary celebrations for Facilities members. * Process and enter clothing orders through Blue Cherry for EILEEN FISHER employees. * Coordinate annual holiday party and summer picnic as a member of the Events Team including but not limited to location scouting, researching vendors, communication with community, acquiring permits, table and chair rentals, catering and transportation logistics. * Regularly update and maintain the Facility Department Fishnet page. * Act as one of the Fire Wardens for Irvington facility, assist in fire alarm drills and safety procedures. * PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED. Education: Some college preferred Required Skills Required Experience Required Experience: Previous customer service related experience required. Individual must have experience handling a high volume switchboard. A deep "customer service" approach with strong commitment to helping others and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment essential. Desired Experience: Must be an articulate communicator – approachable and responsive – with excellent telephone etiquette. Should be well organized with the ability to juggle various tasks.
