Currently, ManTech's Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) function is seeking an M&A Associate to work in our Herndon, VA office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the strategy and corporate development / M&A process from strategy development through transaction close, including maintaining the M&A pipeline and identifying and evaluating new M&A opportunities, helping drive financial modeling and valuation analysis, conducting due diligence and executing transactions.

  • Conduct research and analysis across financials, business operations, competitive intelligence, and corporate development in support of the initial screening and qualification of investment markets, customers and capabilities.

  • Serve as a key contact for both internal and external constituents on M&A projects and act as an assistant project manager.

  • Support Board of Directors and corporate governance requirements via public market and competitor analysis and strategic planning content creation.

  • Help support and implement the company's growth strategy.

  • As the company evolves, assist in the coordination and preparation of investor events to include: investor profiling, developing materials and handling logistics.

  • Reports to the Vice President of M&A and Strategy and interfaces with and supports other senior decision-makers of the company and our investor partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking and/or corporate development

  • BS degree in finance, math, economics, or related discipline.

  • Excellent financial and analytical skills, specifically the ability to identify and define problems, collect data and establish facts and develop substantiated conclusions.

  • Advanced fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Working knowledge of FactSet, NASDAQ IR Insight, BGov, FPDS, DACIS, GovWin IQ and other market intelligence products.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines independently and effectively.

  • Ability to maintains confidentiality in all matters.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to create effective presentation materials and express facts and ideas clearly and concisely regardless of medium (oral or written)

  • Experience in federal professional services and/or national security industry is a plus
