The machinist operates, maintains and sets-up CNC and manual machines to produce product to quality and production standards.
Perform in a fast paced manufacturing environment, multitask across machines to assure production standards are met.
Perform In-process inspections as directed by process sheets and/or engineering drawings.
Perform set-ups on at least one machining platform.
Ensures all quality and production records are correct and recorded in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot process issues with minimal supervision.
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, support requirements provided from Maintenance Connection.
Guide other machinists and entry level machinist ranging from basic to intermediate methodologies and practice.
Actively support a clean and safe work environment and 5S disciplines.
Assist in continuous improvement efforts.
Comply with all Quality System procedures and regulations.
Performs additional duties and assignments as required by management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-10 years hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment, manual machining experience desired.
Ability to effectively communicate in common manufacturing terms and express ideas and concerns.
Demonstrated desire to learn and support higher level machining methodologies.
Understands the basics of CNC machining methodology.
Accurate and attentive to detail.
Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and Process Sheets to produce parts.
