Join one of the fastest-growing aerospace companies by applying now General Machinist / Tool maker Department : Machine Shop Department/ Area: Tool room Position Summary: · Perform machine set ups. · Interpret design schematics, cut and shape dies, and assemble the completed parts. · Manufacture fixtures and tooling for production machining, assembly, and inspection needs. · Must be able to work from engineering models using sketches. · Read prints and sketches and understand verbal and written instruction Minimum Qualifications : Minimum 5 years experience.

Must be able to use all tool room machinery, Bridgport Mill, Hardinge Lathe, Manual Lathe, conventional mill, to produce precision components. Machine tolerances of /- .0001 Be able to use all precision measuring instruments. Collaborate with engineering on design for manufacturability.

Work independently and as a team. Work with carbide is a plus. Reporting Relationships:

Department supervisor Working Conditions: All day standing, repetitive manual motion, heavy physical work. Walking to monitor several machines.

Position type : Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
