Machinist III

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Machinist III, 1st shift 6AM - 2:30PM based in Reamstown, PA. The Machinist III is responsible for performing custom fabrication to standard Interior Glass System (IGS) products and other components using a variety of equipment, such as Bridgeport type mill, drill press, micrometer, and grinding machine.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $28 - $35 plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine what equipment and materials are required for the job

• Operate machinery to mill, grind, cut, and polish the materials

• Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications

• Follow preventative maintenance policies and procedures. Ensure all tools are in good condition and in current calibration prior to use

• Perform work in compliance to all safety, quality, EHS and Production expectations

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school education or equivalent or trade school diploma

• 2+ years of experience in machining or toolmaking

• Ability to read, interpret and follow drawings, blueprints and technical instructions

• Ability to use a variety of industry tools and machinery
