Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Machinist 11, for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location
In our organization, the Machinist 11 has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.
Machines parts according to specifications for assemblies. Builds/repairs parts and makes repair parts for maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings to machine parts.
Builds and repairs parts.
Sets-up and operates conventional and CNC machines.
Reworks molds and tools damaged in production.
Completes related paperwork.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
Supports and helps co-workers as needed.
Minimum of 2 years machine shop experience
Welding ability and CNC experience preferred
Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, trigonometry)
Weights and measures conversions
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Lifting up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling
