Job Description:

The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the company are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list.

• Always maintain a safe work environment and work with the assigned shift to resolve safety issues

• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas

• Create/complete notifications & work orders in SAP

• Respond to unplanned equip needs and breakdowns during shift. Performing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and support as directed on all production tools and dies and shop machining sets, etc.

• Communicate follow-ups, opportunities, and details to maintenance, operations, and leadership organizations.

• Maintain PM Compliance on Assigned Shift PM work orders on Tooling and any Die work, as well as Askew section work assigned on Presses.

• Be able to troubleshoot problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and take initiative to correct and seek immediate assistance as necessary.

• Complete parts requisitions, reservations, work orders, time confirmations, and notifications within SAP completely and in a timely manner.

• Adhere to preventative/predictive maintenance schedules as outlined in work schedules for both outage and non-outage work.

• Maintain Bobst Gluer Nick breakers as well as BOBST support for the cutting discs.

• Support Operations group with Make Ready and Changeover events as needed per shift.

• Be proficient in reading and following production schedules for die change outs and service.

Physical Demands:

• Position is associated with pushing, pulling, climbing, reaching, stretching, and working in tight positions.

• The employee is continuously required to lift up to 20 pounds, frequently required to lift 10 to 50 pounds and occasionally required to lift over 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to carry over 50 pounds.

• Must have physical coordination to operate forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles

• Must have the physical ability and coordination to operate machinery (Lathe, Grinder, Drill Press, Handsaw, etc...,) used to make and repair parts.

• Must have the physical ability and coordination to remove and replace parts from machinery.

• Inside Conditions: Extremes of heat (100+ seasonal), humidity, working in tight areas, noise (from production machinery) and working with various oils, solvents, and other related chemicals

• Must be able to work 12-hour, rotating shifts on both days and nights.

Required Skills:

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills

• Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Research proficiency

• Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Visio a Plus

• Good project management skills.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills

• Understanding of Reliability Engineering Fundamentals

• Proficient understanding of PdM Methodologies

• PdM Certifications a Plus

• Solid Works or similar cad drawing software a PLUS

• Able to Identify, Locate, Order, manage spare parts as needed

Required Experience:

• Must have 5-10 years of demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent education

• Must have at least 5 years of machinist, tooling, and mechanical experience

• Must provide documentation for completion of formal training to include certifications for machining, tooling, & mechanical disciplines or a demonstrated work history which supports equivalent experience

• Certificate or Diploma for Machinist trade

• Advanced SAP or Equivalent CMMS Experience

• Knowledgeable in printing and converting technologies a plus
