Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Experienced Machinist to join our team You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments. Responsibilities: Operate machine tools to produce precision parts for pump repairs Modify parts and materials to rebuild pumps Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects Perform routine maintenance on machinery Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments ​ Qualifications:

Previous experience as a machinist Previous pump experience not required but considered a plus Previous experience using manual lathe, milling machines, cutting torches, and welding Strong analytical and mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Company Description Alpha Southwest does pump repair, and water well maintenance on large municipal wells and pumping stations in the El Paso, Las Cruces area.
