Job Description

We're hiring for a Part-Time Machine Shop Parts Washer.

Must have some knowledge/experience of machining.

We want an employee that's reliable, dedicated and organized.

It's all about caring for the customer and the service they receive.

Compressed air or a centrifugal wheel is used to propel a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants. Advance/Carquest machine shops offer one or more types of blasting - sand, metal shot or glass bead.

Parts bath, or degreasing, is used as a prelude to surface finishing which removes oil and grease.

Job Duties:

Parts washing

Following safety guidelines

Shop cleanliness (Trash, floors, etc.)

Compensation $16.45 per hour

Availability to work part-time M-F in the hours of operation (7:30 A.M. 4:30 P.M.)
