You will also be expected to maintain your machine, as well as your work area. Our machinists make their own programs if it’s a new run, as well as making all their own setups for jobs. Potential to become a machine lead with decision making authority.

Proactive mind set 5 years minimum experience Identifying engineer drawings/print Able to use a vast range of inspection equipment Micrometers Indicators Calipers 2 & 3 contact bore gauges Etc. Understanding Metric and Imperial measurements, simultaneously being able to perform conversions from one to the other Understanding of G and M code and programming efficiently and effectively. First piece inspections- must be accurate and efficient Understanding the correct function of a tool and being able to set it up properly GibbsCam/Fusion 360 – preferred U.S.
