Machinist - 1St Shift

In this role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Oxnard, CA. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Mill and/or Lathe machines, specifically 3-4 axis VMC and 2-4 axis CNC Lathe machines.

Your expertise in machine setups for production runs will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes. Experience with deburring will also be valuable in this role. You are responsible for:

Work includes operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual and CNC equipment. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic mathematics skill and precision instruments.

Interpret blueprints and manufacture from prints to specification with supervision. CNC operator/deburrer. Check dimensional accuracy of work using available tools. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience

• Comfortable making average arithmetic calculations

• Ability to read and interpret prints

• Able to use precision measuring instruments to inspect and check accuracy of work (gauges, micrometers, etc.)

• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Desire to learn more about machining

Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $32,240 - $48,000 for a Non-Technical Int Specialist at Oxnard CA USA.
