Machinist

Foundry that manufactures highly engineered cast products, located in Yellow Springs, is looking for an experienced Machinist with CNC background. We are seeking a self-reliant candidate who can take part prints and develop machining and setup strategies to manufacture parts using conventional and CNC machines.

Candidates should have conventional and CNC machining experience with traditional lathes, drills, and CNC mills with HAAS control experience desired. HAAS VF8 experience is a plus.

Qualified candidates must have 2-4 years experience, basic math skills, blueprint reading, some knowledge of CNC programming, demonstrate mechanical abilities and aptitude, be able to use computer.

Responsibilities include

• Machine and assemble any and all components per work instructions and production schedule
• Recognize and understand the need for tool, machine, or fixture adjustments or corrections
• Maintain housekeeping to expected levels
• Maintain equipment per the basic care instructions
• Understand safety and machining hazards
• Work under general direction with minimal coaching in a team environment
• Ensure all paperwork filled out accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.25 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
