Purpose of position

Responsible for the overall management of the Machine Shop. Which includes supervising departmental staff, planning and directing the activities in the machine shop and developing the manufacturing process to meet business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:

  • Oversee all activities in the Machine Shop, making sure orders are filled in a safe and timely manner.

  • Ensure all orders are cut and formed according to customers exact specifications.

  • Train and develop employees in the safe and proper use of equipment.

  • Evaluate staff for continuous professional growth

  • Constantly monitor and maintain machinery for optimal shop efficiency

  • Continuously communicate with customers, vendors and management with the status of orders and production schedules

  • Develop and monitor the department's annual expense budget

  • Implement cost effective and time saving methods; inform and encourage employee involvement in the improvement process

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs


  • 10-15 Years experience managing a machine and fabrication shop.

  • Must have CNC mill and lathe programming experience

  • CAD, Solid Works, FUSE and MasterCam experience needed

  • Several years of hands on experience in a machine shop including quoting and scheduling

  • Must be a Leader and also have the ability to work well with others

The address is 4504 Boat Club Road, Fort Worth, TX 76135 Salary range is Min $13.19/hour - Max $19.72/hour - based on relevant experience Work Schedule Full Time 40 hours per week Rotating Hours - Clinic open 7 days a week Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm for walk-ins Required to work some late evenings and weekends depending on the need Job Description Under direct supervision, the Receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process and performs routine duties within the clinic. Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance. Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately. Schedules appointments according to office guideline. Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts. Copies/scans patient access related hard copy materials (e.g. ID, referrals, insurance cards, etc.) into the correct location in the electronic medical record. Prepares charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete. Conducts all functions associated with patient check-out including pricing services, collecting patient responsibility payments and scheduling follow-up appointments. Performs duties involving record filing and retrieval and assisting with the filing of registration documentation in electronic medical records. Confirms next day appointments and alerts patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time-of-service payment. Follows up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy and sends out the appropriate communications. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience Six months of healthcare experience in a clinical setting or customer service experience in a clinical setting or office environment preferred Prefer scheduling and insurance verification experience Skills Knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements. Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills. Organizational and time management skills. Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements. Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Why Texas Health Resources?
