Qualifications - A qualified candidate will:
Batch paperwork by aisle for supply to the steel shop (wood shop is batched by scheduler)
Pull doors, inserts and lites after scanning work order with a hand-held scanner
Stage material in the correct order to supply the shop - inserts on cart to match the order of the doors
Assure constant production flow by stacking material appropriately
Make inventory adjustments when indicated
Communicate constantly with the production scheduler, shop supervisor and department manager to assure continuing production in the shop
Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled
Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the receiving dock
Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy
Use of forklift and order picker required
Assist production personnel to remove an RTV or damaged door and replace with a new door
Assist receiving and/or order pullers when necessary
Performs other duties that may be assigned by management.
