Volt is immediately hiring Machine Operator in San Diego, California - Rancho Bernardo.
As a Machine Operator you will:
Operate equipment to prepare raw materials for processing
Read and understand work instructions and follow procedures to ensure that work is performed in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure that work area is kept clean and safe at all times
Follow all company safety regulations and maintain all required documentation
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager to ensure proper production and maintenance of equipment
Load and unload postal and company supplies, ensuring that it is properly secured for transportation.
Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Handle any necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts, bills of lading, and vehicle inspection reports.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English
Must be able to follow procedures without deviation or variation
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple tasks to complete per minute with or without overtime
Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Clean Driving Record
Schedule: Monday-Friday
1st week of every month: work 7 days a week
6am-4pm
OR
4pm-4am
Regular schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4/5pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
