Machine Operator

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machine Operators for projects located in and around Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $24-29/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Working with copper materials

• Operate a splitter pack or tandem machine

• Place metal spooks into a machine, calculate width of metl

• Set up machine & cut the metal size

• Use machine to flatten metal to specific thickness

• Use a forklift to load metal spools into the machine

• Run machine monitoring metal for defects

• Use overhead crane to lift bars out of furnace until theyre at a usable temperature

• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of Manufacturing Experience

• Heavy Industrial Experience

• Operator, Forklift Experience is a Plus

• Casting Experience

• Crane Experience Preferred

• Mathematically Inclined

• Background Check

• Drug Screen

• Proper PPE
