You don't have to choose at Merric because we are looking for an operator on 2nd shift, with great pay and job security while working with a passionate and supportive team Machine Operators are responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating various machines. Machines include beam saw, CNC, edgebander, and more. This will include maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Set up and operate machinery so that the work is performed at the highest level of efficiency, quality and meeting all deadlines. Ability to learn programs and how to make dimensional changes.

Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls. Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Required Skills/Abilities The ability to read and understand work orders.

Ability to learn and understand the products and methods used in millwork manufacturing. Understanding of equipment used to process components used in millwork manufacturing. The ability to competently and safely operate all associated equipment and tools.
