Machine Operator-Jordan Plant

As a Machine Operator you will perform operator responsibilities within your department. This will include ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are conducted in a safe manner, with a focus on producing quality product within the time required by our customers. You will earn an hourly rate between $19.50 and $23.00 per hour. Projects are related to the improvement of product quality, manufacturing processes consistency, efficiency and throughput, operating systems, and lean manufacturing.
The available shifts for this position are typically overnight.
Walk-In Applicants are welcome daily from 8AM-4PM.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform standard responsibilities as a Machine Operator to include:

Perform standard responsibilities as a machine operator within the department.
Daily communication with supervisor, other operators, and other shifts to ensure operational objectives are met.
Provide continuous improvement ideas for Safety, On-Time Delivery, Quality, Cost Reduction and Efficiency.
Support and comply with company policies and procedures as applicable.
Be able to perform parts inspection as listed on the documented procedures and enter data into a computerized collection system.
Demonstrate good housekeeping ability.
Work in a safe manner.
Safely handle materials of various sorts.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills include:

High school or equivalent
Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable comfort
Minimum 18 years of age
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Basic math skills
Available with respect to required work hours
Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug free
At least 1 year experience operating industrial production equipment preferred
