• set up foamer, get cup weight and operate controls that deliver latex to back of carpet
• monitors pum and maintains cup weight, clean rollers as needed
• does PM on foamer at the end of the shift
• monitor delivery of foamer application
• cleans out pit as necessary
• adjusts guides as necessary/ clip yarn from back of carpet as needed
• monitor tension controls and checks for slack carpet/ foldovers before and after application
• assists in starting up line after line stops
• keeps area clean
• records infromation and keeps log sheets
• relieves operators
• does viscosity checks
• does quality control checks and monitors control panel
• changes out strainer pots if needed
• assists main operator in all operations needed
• other functions that may be assigned
