Main Responsabilities

• Ensures that production equipment is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Cleans and prepares equipment for efficient changeovers and subsequent production runs.
• Trouble-shoots processing problems to ensure production of quality products
• Plan workflow for efficient equipment operations.
• Assists Maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Complies with all production related Quality Manual Procedures and System through classroom and on the job training and passing all accompanying testing as required.

Requirements

• Physical capability to lift over 55 pounds, perform tasks like climbing, bending, and kneeling, and work in extreme environments (heat, cold, wet, dust, fumes).
• Ability to work night shifts, overtime, and independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic math (decimals and fractions) and fundamental computer skills.
• Strong focus and communication skills in loud equipment environments, with the ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prior extrusion or compounding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
