  • Receive, comprehend and follow traveler instructions, procedures, drawings and/or verbal instructions.

  • Set-up and operate manufacturing equipment in a manner which meets quality and productivity standards.

  • Recognize variations from proper equipment/machine performance and seek corrective assistance when other than normal adjustments are required.

  • Assist supervision, engineers and other employees in developing new methods and techniques to improve process and quality of products.

  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required.

  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment, including preventative maintenance and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area.

  • Assist in the training of other employees.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3 or more years production and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of various tools and equipment including but not limited to: manufacturing process equipment, personal protective equipment (e.g. safety shoes, eye protection, protective aprons, respirators, gloves, etc.), measurement tools (e.g. micrometers, weigh scales, etc.), hand tools (e.g. wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and test equipment (e.g. eddy current, volt meters, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various materials used including but not limited to: various grades of titanium and other specialty alloys, drawing compounds and lubricants, solvents and process chemicals.

  • Ability to set-up and operate applicable machines, tools and equipment

  • Ability to operate plant mobile equipment and overhead cranes

  • Ability to read and interpret traveler instructions, procedures and drawings

  • Ability to measure dimensional tolerances using applicable equipment

  • Ability to read precision instruments

  • Ability to see and feel product defects

  • Ability to maintain hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate machines, tools and equipment

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds

  • Ability to move and reach around equipment in order to perform job duties

  • Ability to travel throughout the plant to perform job duties

  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language

  • Ability to hear changes in frequency of machinery to ensure proper operation and safety

  • Ability to maintain mental concentration for entire shift to perform job duties

  • Ability to work in adverse conditions/environments (e.g. outdoors, loud noise, extreme heat, near chemicals, etc.)

  • Ability to perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and standard operating procedures

Must competently operate and properly maintain all assigned equipment. Carry out duties in a manner that is mindful of the environment and the communities while providing the client with flawless service quality and service free of incidents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Specific duties require rig up, rig down, equipment operation and maintenance of same equipment as directed by supervisory staff. * Adheres to all well service health, safety and environmental regulations. * Attaches pumps and hoses, assembles equipment, and/ or monitors control panels affecting pumping operations. * Performs routine maintenance on all assigned service equipment. * Drives equipment to and from locations as required once all company and federal regulations are satisfied including a CDL, Class A license. Maintains and submits timely daily driver log reports, equipment/truck reports as well as Individual Vehicle Driver's Record (IVDRs), and on occasion timesheets for out of town travel. * Performs other related duties as required. Educational and Other Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. * CDL, Class A license or permit, including the hazmat and tanker endorsements. * The CDL testing must be completed within 90 days of hire date or training may be extended with a review by district or division manager. * Maintains Class A license with hazmat and tanker endorsements in good standing as required * Complete and abide by all Safety Training and other provided training. * Appropriate communication skills for coordination of the well service activities with crew members and supervisory staff. * Travel to job location as required. * Sensitive to confidential information. * Must work independently and as a member of team.
