Responsibilities
PURPOSE:
As a Machine Operator in the Sioux Falls production plant, you will be responsible setting up, running and adjusting manufacturing equipment to produce quality plastic film and bag products in a safe working environment. You will report to the Section Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and HACCP policies
Adjust a variety of equipment in a timely fashion to maximize yields
Make minor repairs and aid in trouble shooting
Perform required quality checks and understand quality standards
Assist in packing as needed
High school diploma or GED preferred
Three to six months experience working in a manufacturing related field
Understanding of air rings and extruders
Ability to train new employees
Ability to operator a fork lift
Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the company
Ability to read and understand work orders
Ability to work independently
PAY: From $ 19.00/ hr + Shift differential
Qualifications

Attendance is important! You must be reliable, punctual and consistent.
You adjust a variety of equipment in a well-timed manner to maximize outputs.
Make minor repairs and aid in troubleshooting.
Perform required quality checks and understand the quality standards.
Inspecting product for quality & ensure packing requirements are met.
Knowledge in the use of these items will be needed: fork lift, measuring tools, an understanding of rings and extruders.
Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and HACCP policies.
Overtime is readily available in this position.
