Primary Responsibility:

Set up and operate machines to ensure quality products are produced at a consistent speed following machine standards.

What You'll Do:

• Machine Operation: Operate machines following standard procedures.

• Adjustments: Make machine adjustments for safety, quality, and production standards.

• Setup: Set up gluers with precise measurements and alignments.

• Shift Start: Review the previous shift's report at the start of each shift.

• Data Entry: Log productivity and job remarks using the computer system.

• Scanner Use: Utilize scanners when required.

• Speed Control: Start equipment and adjust for target speeds.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality in folding, gluing, packaging, labeling, and stacking.

• Inspections: Inspect for scrap and quality defects.

• Packing Counts: Verify proper packing counts.

• Safety: Operate machines safely and report unsafe conditions.

• Machine Maintenance: Troubleshoot and assist in machine repairs.

• Clean Environment: Maintain a clean work environment as per the 5S system.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Experience operating a folder/gluer, preferably in folding carton production.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Skills: Basic computer skills and mechanical ability.

• Language: Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

• Mathematics: Strong mathematical skills.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

• Attendance: Regular attendance and punctuality.

• Overtime: Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Commitment and Availability:

Regular attendance and punctuality are fundamental requirements. You must also be available for overtime work when necessary.
