Position Summary:

Responsible to perform set-up and operation functions relative to the press department. Ensures that the equipment runs efficiently and that products are free of any defects. Critical features of this job are described under the headings below. They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

Perform the set-ups and start-ups on the saw according to customer specifications.

Establish proper parameters for saw operation.

Ensure that machines are provided with adequate material in order to complete jobs correctly and efficiently.

Ensure that work order specifications are followed according to established schedule.

Perform quality checks on products to ensure product is manufactured according to customer specifications.

Ensure that machinery is working properly at all times.

Troubleshoot saw for problems and make the proper adjustments.

Perform general maintenance on equipment.

Operate forklift when needed.

Ensure housekeeping duties are performed on the plant floor.

Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Assist other team members as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned
