Insulfoam, a division of Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has a MULTIPLE immediate openings for Machine Operators on our Swing Shift. Hours for this position are: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed. Machine Operators are responsible for operating and tending the machines that are used to produce and shape Insulfoam's expanded polystyrene (EPS) blocks. Multiple positions are currently available for both Day and Swing shifts. We offer a GENEROUS pay differential for our Swing Shift employees. Responsibilities include one or more of the following, depending upon your machine assignment:

  • Molding/Expanding: Operate or tend machines designed to mold and expand bead into EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

  • Cutting: Operate or tend machines designed cut EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

  • Fabrication: Operate or tend machines designed to fabricate EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

  • Must pass basic proficiency exam (verbal/math skills)

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred

  • Ability to use measuring gauges such as a measuring tape preferred

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks under strict deadlines

  • Reliable means of transportation required

Directly responsible for the proper support to the Maintenance team and all other team members to ensure a positive team environment. 5. Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects. 6. Maintains all required documentation of quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry. 7. Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product. 8. Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Amcor "No Injuries Safety Contract" and as trained. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors. Properly uses all required personal protective equipment. 9.
