Machine Operator - 1St Shift

Eaton's ESSG PDCAD Power Distrib Control Assy Div is currently seeking a Machine Operator

• 1st Shift. This position is based at our Arden, NC location. The Fabrication Operator is responsible to process and bend raw material through the Fabrication department. Performing initial set-up for machine operation.

Shift Hours: 5am

• 3:30pm Monday

• Thursday

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

• Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts

• Interpret work orders including; written, oral, Kanban cards, and drawings

• Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation

• Inspect final component against work specifications

• Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment

• Provide on-the-job training for new operators

• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

• No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC in order to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical

area limitation.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred qualifications:

• Machining Certificate.

• Previous experience in Fabrication.

Position Success Criteria:

• Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead.

• Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures.

• Able to read blue prints.

• Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance.

• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.

• Able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends
