Machine Operator

We are positioned to be your one-stop staffing resource for all your hiring & employment needs from entry-level to executive, spanning across all industries.PAY: $14/hourSCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM (1st shift)Machine Operating Responsibilities:

• Set up and operation of machines
• Operating the machine safely and competently in accordance with manufacturers’ operating instructions and ensuring good safety and housekeeping
• Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment’s such as (Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges and etc)
• Must be able to select suitable tools and inserts and cutters
• Candidates will be required to work within very close tolerances and be able to work in a production setting to meet on going production quotas
• Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions or standard charts to determine specification procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost, and delivery

Machine Operating Qualifications:

• 1+ years of machinist experience operating 
• Basic shop math skills
• Computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Good mechanical ability and manual dexterity essential
• Strong work ethic and be able to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
• Ability to read & understand drawing and handle measuring instruments
• Excellent attention to detail
