As a senior leader in Machine Learning Software Engineering, you will combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology.

As the Machine Learning lead Engineer you will study recent developments and implement novel data engineering and machine learning components for high-performance computing applications. You'll also work closely with other data engineers, data scientists and data analysts to guide them to use our high-performance platform to its maximum potential for high-efficiency machine learning. You'll receive hands-on experience and exposure to designing and building low-latency, high-performance, power-efficient hardware-aware machine learning pipelines at scale.You'll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. With your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming, your team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your experience in one or more technology domains will help solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. As a constant learner and early adopter, you're already embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies; your example encourages others to follow suit. In addition to creating solutions with your in-house team, you'll also work alongside our team of technologists from around the world who are just as dedicated as you are.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Mastery of Machine Learning techniques, languages, tools

  • Mastery of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Command of architecture, design and business processes

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals.

Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

MS or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree.

Extensive experience with Machine Learning tools

  • TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch

Strong proficiency in Python and coding reusable components
15+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience (managing teams of 8 or more developers).

Large scale systems design experience.

Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
10+ plus years of experience in Software development. Experience with at least 5 of the following languages (Java, Python, Go, ruby, powershell, bash, javascript)

Strong in Integration components

  • Integration, SOAP Service, RESTful web service implementations, XML/XSD, JSON. MQ Integration

Experience with Hadoop, Spark

SCRUM or similar agile SDLC methodologies.

STRONG knowledge of our Cloud (AWS, Cloud Foundry or other).

Experience debugging REST API's and other HTTP services.

Experience automating deployment processes.
