About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

  • Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

  • Use predictive modelling to solve variety of Business Problems.

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

  • Be a member of the Data Science team and help in code review processes.

Requirements

  • Expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools (Tableau), databases (SQL etc), programming (R, Python).

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests etc.) and experience with applications.

  • Strong analytics skill with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques/models (k-means, decision trees, random forest etc.)

  • Expertise in writing and reviewing SQL Queries

  • Good knowledge in various machine learning

U.S. Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
